Per 1 januari 2023 is de regeling Tegemoetkoming Stoffengerelateerde Beroepsziekten (TSB) ingevoerd. Werkenden die ziek zijn geworden door het werken met schadelijke stoffen kunnen dan een éénmalige tegemoetkoming aanvragen van € 22.839. Vooralsnog geldt de regeling TSB voor drie beroepsziekten; longkanker door asbest, allergisch beroepsastma en chronische encefalopathie door oplosmiddelen (CSE of schildersziekte).
